NEWSFLASH: Man critical after vehicle overturns in Daspoort

A man is in a critical condition after he lost control of his car in the west of Pretoria on Friday.

Best Care ambulance service spokesperson Xander Loubser said this happened in Moot Street, Daspoort around 09:15.

“The driver lost control of his vehicle and drove into a palisade wall,” said Loubser.

His vehicle overturned.

“The man had to be removed from his vehicle by us [Best Care] and the fire department.”

“He was transported to Eugene Marais hospital in a critical condition.”

Loubser said the exact cause of the accident was unknown.

He said a water pipe burst on impact and residents could possibly expect a water supply interruption.
