Man robbed at café in the west

A man is searching for his car keys after was robbed at a café in the west of Pretoria on Thursday.

Pierre Pearson said he was at the café around 20:00 in Dorp Street, Mountain View when three armed men walked in.

The robbers demanded the owner’s cellphone and cash and then turned to Pearson.

“The men took R2 300 out of my wallet and took my car keys,” said Pearson.

“The robbers escaped but did not take my car, a Mazda.”

Pearson urged anyone who finds his car keys to contact him on 072-856-0992.

The police could not be reached for comment at the time of going to press.
