The body of a man that was found in Villieria last week has been identified, police said on Monday.

A murder docket is being investigated, spokesperson Captain Coba Brits said.

“The 59-year-old from Polokwane was murdered last week and his body was found in the park. He has since been identified by his kin as Kgadi Moses Nkgweng,” she said.

His body was found Tuesday morning, on the corner of Meyer Street and 33rd Avenue.

Brits said no arrests had been made.
