Moot residents search for missing man

A businessman has gone missing after visiting friends in Waverley in the Moot.

Werner Spruyt Möller went missing on 3 March on his way home from Waverley to Johannesburg.

According to a Facebook post by Minette Ferreira, a friend, Möller was driving a navy blue Volvo SUV with registration number P/152 KHB, but recently registered in South Africa as FP-72-CN-GP.

Ferreira told Rekord on Monday that Möller left her home around 12:30 for a meeting in Midrand.

“He never showed up for the meeting,” she said.

Ferreira said a missing person’s docket was opened at Villieria police station.
