The Tshwane West security cluster conducted random roadblocks on the major roads in Hercules policing precinct on Wednesday.

“This was done in spite of the unlawful roadblocks that were undertaken by Santaco taxi drivers throughout the major cities in the province,” said Zwane.

“A number of traffic fines and warnings were issued for unroadworthy motor vehicles.”

Zwane said the Tshwane metro police were also present to ensure the Traffic Management Act was adhered to.
