NOTICE: Power failure in the Moot

Moot residents are advised of a power outage due to an 11KV power trip that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to Tshwane metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo it was not yet known when power would be restored as the city’s technicians were still investigating the trip with a view to effecting repairs.

The power failure affected the following areas:

  • Mamelodi West
  • Silverton
  • East Lynn
  • Koedoespoort

Mashigo said the city wished to apologise for the inconvenience as a result of the power supply interruption and urged residents to treat all electrical points as live at all times.
