A woman from the west of Pretoria claimed to have been attacked by police.
Riekie Vermaak from Danville said her handbag was stolen on Friday evening.
“I went to the Hercules police station to lay a charge of theft on Saturday evening, but the officer helping me refused to open a docket,” she said.
Vermaak said she took a picture of the officer.

“Before I knew what was happening, the officer leapt over the counter in an attempt to get my phone from me,” she said.
“She took my phone and wiped most of my photos, but could not find the photo that I took of her.”
Vermaak said the officer then took her outside.
“She pushed me and I bumped and scratched my head,” she said.
“When we got outside, she [police officer] started shaking me and pushed my head repeatedly against the wall.”
Vermaak said she started screaming for help.
“When people came outside, she finally let go of me.”
She told Rekord on Wednesday that her body was aching all over and that there was a dent in her head from the attack.
“I also have bruises on my arm and foot,” she said.
“It feels like a truck has driven over me.”
Vermaak said she had laid a charge of assault against the officer.
Comment from Hercules police station could not be obtained immediately.
