A suspect was found with a plastic bag containing 15 brown small packages of nyaope in his vehicle.

(Nyaope is a potent street drug that is a mixture of dagga and heroin.)

In the other arrest, police were given information that led to the arrest of an elderly man at his house in Lotus Gardens who was selling dagga.

“Upon arrival, the suspect was found in the premises and searched. Three matchboxes [of dagga] were found inside the house.”

Vuma said the man was taken to the Pretoria West police station.
