Cases against three Eersterust men recently arrested in sting operations have been postponed for “further investigation”.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Sam Shibambo, the three appeared in court on Monday where their cases were postponed.
“They remain in custody.”
Two men were arrested around 15:30 last Thursday after a tip-off.
“The police received information that two young men were selling drugs at a house in Rudolf Avenue,” he said.
“Upon arrival at the address, police found two young men and asked permission to search the house.”

Shibambo said the police found several packets of dagga and cash.
The two were arrested and appeared in the Hatfield Magistrate’s Court.
On Friday, a 32-year-old man was arrested in Mamelodi for possession of stolen goods during a police operation.
“He was found with several cartons of cigarettes,” said Shibambo.
When he saw the police coming, he entered a property in the area and pretended he lived there.
However, the occupants of the house denied knowing him.
His actions prompted the police to search him.
The police found several boxes of cigarettes in his sports bag, for which he failed to give a reasonable explanation or receipts.”
The man appeared in the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court.
