Two arrested for drug dealing

Two men were arrested for dealing in drugs in Eersterust on Tuesday.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Sam Shibambo said officers conducting a crime prevention operation received information about two men selling drugs from a house in Terry Avenue.

Police responded immediately, he said.

Shibambo said upon searching the house, police found 47 small Ziplock bags containing drugs suspected to be CAT, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.

The drugs were seized and the two men were arrested for drug dealing.

Eersterust police acting station commander Captain Pandelani Mudziwa thanked the resident for the tip-off.

“He further commended the two officials for the job well done.”

Shibambo said the men would appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.
